Publication licence
Published scholarly content is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence - CC BY 4.0. The licence permits reading, downloading, copying, distribution, adaptation and reuse of the material in any medium or format, provided that the author, title of the work, publication source, applicable licence and any modifications are properly acknowledged.
The application of the licence does not imply that the author or the journal endorses opinions expressed in subsequent reuse. Elements obtained by the author from third parties - images, maps, tables, documents or other materials - may be subject to different conditions, which must be clearly indicated in the article.
Authors’ rights
Authors retain their moral rights in the work and their right to be recognised as authors. By accepting publication, they grant the journal a non-exclusive right to edit, reproduce, publish, archive and publicly communicate the article in print and electronic formats, and to transmit its metadata to indexing and preservation services.
Authors may deposit the published version of the article in institutional repositories, professional webpages or other academic repositories, provided that the original publication is fully acknowledged and a link is provided to the article page on the journal’s website.
Access, archiving and integrity
Journal issues and published articles are preserved in the journal’s electronic archive. The published version remains the version of record. Any correction, update, expression of concern or retraction is published visibly and linked to the original article in order to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
Open access and the payment of any processing fees are separate from scientific evaluation. The existence or absence of a fee does not influence reviewer selection or the editorial decision.
